At SmartRename AI, we take your privacy extremely seriously. We do not store your raw file contents (images, PDFs, or documents) on our disks. Files are processed in volatile memory (RAM) and are discarded immediately after the AI analysis is complete.
2. Information We Collect
Account Data
When you create an account, we store your email address to manage your subscription and usage limits.
Usage Data
We log the number of files processed to enforce tier limits and maintain service quality.
3. Payment Information
Payment details are never stored on our servers. All transactions are handled securely by Paystack, a leading PCI-compliant payment gateway. We only receive a confirmation of your subscription status to unlock your plan features.
4. Third-Party AI Services
Documents are processed using privacy-first AI models hosted on Groq. While data is sent to these models for analysis, it is governed by their enterprise privacy agreements which prohibit the use of your data for model training without explicit consent.
5. Your Ownership
You retain 100% ownership of your original files and the resulting metadata (filenames, descriptions, and tags) generated by our system. We do not claim any rights over your intellectual property.
